Patron Mackenzie Crook Paul Mackenzie Crook was born in Maidstone, Kent, England, and grew up in Dartford.
In 1996 he made his film debut in ‘The Man Who Fell in Love with a Traffic Cone!’. In 1997 Crook was scouted by
Bob Mortimer at the Edinburgh Festival. Soon he made his debut on television as a stand-up comedian on The 11 O’Clock
Show. Mackenzie Crook is a hugely diverse actor who has played a wide variety of roles, from Ragetti in three of the record-smashing,
swashbuckling Pirates Of The Caribbean films, to the wonderful character of Gareth in The Office and the critically acclaimed
Konstantin in the Royal Court’s version of The Seagull. He has also appeared in a whole host of other works, including
films such as Finding Netherland, Brothers Grimm and The Merchant Of Venice, as well as in the BBC Radio version of Adrian
Mole, and the stage version of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest in London’s West End.
Patron Sean Bean
Shaun Mark ‘Sean’ Bean born 17 April 1959 is an English film and stage actor.
Sean Bean is best known for starring roles in the films Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, GoldenEye, Patriot
Games, Troy, National Treasure and Silent Hill, as well as the television series Sharpe. Sean Bean has also acted in a number
of television productions, most recent being HBO’s Game of Thrones. He was 20 when he signed up for his first acting
class. At 24 he landed his first film role, the rarely-seen Winter Flight. In 1988, Sean Bean starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones,
Melanie Griffith, and Sting in the gangster flick Stormy Monday. Through the mid-1990s, he played Richard Sharpe in a series
of TV movies based on the novels of Bernard Cornwell (Sharpe’s Honour, Sharpe’s Company). In America, Sean Bean
has mostly been cast in spy movies and cop roles. He has menaced Harrison Ford in Patriot Games and James Bond in GoldenEye.
In the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he played Boromir of Gondor.
